jojieJojie’s Bakeshop started as home-based business in barangay dela Paz Cortes, Bohol, 6 kilometers away from Tagbilaran City. Due to limited capitalization, the couple, Arnold and Jojie Labunog resorted to borrowing their mother’s oven and fabricating baling sheets from tin cans of cooking oil. Both of them were directly involved in the business operation for they had only two employees.

In 1993, Jojies Bakeshop opened its first store along V.P. Inting Avenue, Tagbilaran City. Years later more branches where opened.

In 1998, the Tripartite Industrial Peace Council, Bohol Chapter awarded Jojies Bakeshop as one of the Outstanding Small and Medium Enterprise.

Jojies Bakeshop has grown significantly over the years. As of 2007, it has commissary, six branches within Tagbilaran City and 11 branches in other municipalities of Bohol.
