What type of franchise is available?
HBC Franchise Corporation offers UNIT franchises for the development and operation of an HBC Store.
How much is the total franchise investment?
The total investment for an HBC Store franchise is about P4 Million for an outlet with an average area of 80 sq.m. in a mall or free-standing location. This includes the franchise fee of Php750,000.00 as well as a total support system necessary to run an HBC Store outlet. The franchise package includes:

What does the franchise fee cover?
The franchise fee covers the cost of providing you with pre-opening and start-up assistance, initial training, and other support and business development services. This fee also entitles you to: use of the HBC name, trademarks and logo, access to operating system, marketing support, ongoing business development, consulting, and other benefits during the term of the franchise.
How much is the royalty fee?
The royalty fee is 5% of gross sales for continuing support services.
What do the system wide and advertising fees cover?
Franchisees shall spend a specific amount each year or 1% of gross sales monthly, whichever is higher, for local advertising and promotion. There is also a system wide contribution of 3% of your gross sales to a corporate advertising and development fund which will be used for newspaper and direct mail advertising or promotional items through other media.
Will we be given a comprehensive operations manual?
Yes. After you sign a franchise agreement, you will receive a copy of the Confidential Operations Manual containing policies and procedures involved in running the business.
Will we be trained on the HBC system of operations?
Yes. At our training center, franchisees and their designated manager will be given 3 days training on store management, operations, services and products, as well as customer service. On-the-job trainees (OJTs) will also be given special training for one month at our Training Center in Metro Manila. The OJTs for provincial outlets will be given 3 weeks training at our satellite office within the area. Training is done 30 days before grand store opening.
What other continuing support will I receive?
As our franchisee, our representatives will conduct periodic visits of your outlet, provide advice and guidance, and check quality control compliance, and may be consulted on any matter you may encounter as you operate the business. Refresher trainings may also be provided as needed, as well as access to exclusive services of a dermatologist for franchisee store.
Will I have an exclusive territory?
You will not receive an exclusive territory. However, HBC Franchise Corporation will see to it that each site will service the population to the fullest to make the business viable.
What is the term of the franchise agreement?
The initial term of the franchise agreement is 5 years, renewable to 2 additional 3-year terms for a total of 11 years.
