Chez Andre Pizza Gourmet started as a home business in Bacong, Negros Oriental by Frenchman Joel Andre’ Estoursy and his wife, Vita. They provided customers with the freshest and healthiest ingredients because they believed that freshnes, quality, and flavorful food can be easily obtained by careful and meticulous cooking.
The first outlet in Bacong thrived amidst a modest set-up free of the complexities of the modern, commercially-oriented trappings of most businesses. A growing popularity brought by word-of-mouth endorsements of satisfied customers made pizza lovers from Dumaguete City and the nearby towns regulars at the Bacong outlet. But the demands of a mushrooming clientele could not be ignored. Upon suggestion of city-based customers, Andre’and Vita decided to relocate their business to Dumaguete where the bulk of their business was coming from.
