Grilla has established a successful presence in the restaurant industry since its flagship outlet opened on June 15,1998 at Sumulong Highway, Antipolo City.

In 1999, Grilla was recognized by the leading newspaper as one of the “Coolest Places in Metro Manila.” Though not located in Metro Manila, Grilla made it to the list sharing the honors with mostly foreign franchises.
